The Sands Township Recreation Committee has prepared a draft of the 2011-2015 Sands Township Recreation Plan. The Plan identifies possible recreation projects to be undertaken in the coming years. A copy of the Plan is available for public review at the Sands Township Hall during normal business hours.
The Township Board will hold a Public Hearing at their regular meeting on June 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments on the draft Recreation Plan. Both oral and written comments will be accepted. All interested persons should plan to attend this meeting. Following the Public Hearing, the Township Board will discuss the comments received and take formal action on the plan.
