Current news

Beginning March 1, 2024, all 2023 taxes and interest/penalties must be paid directly to the Marquette County treasurer at 234 W Baraga Ave in Marquette.

PLEASE NOTE OUR OFFICE HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 10 AM - 3 PM.

The Sands Township Fire Department meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7:00 PM at Station 1. The public is always welcome to attend.

We are always looking for Sanitation workers to sub in on our garbage truck. Please contact the office for further information.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR CURBSIDE TRASH BAGS/CANS TO UNDER 30 LBS EACH OR THEY MAY NOT BE PICKED UP.
